i-Ready & Symphony Scores

This week your child brought home a copy of their iReady and Symphony scores.  As you read through them please note that these scores show a small snapshot of a much bigger picture of your child's learning.  While we do look at them to help us determine what is best for your child, their daily work and our teacher observations play a much bigger part in helping us with these decisions. It also is the first time they have completed a universal assessment and it was during the first hot weeks of school.  These two factors may also explain why some scores were not as expected.   As always, if you have any questions or concerns about your child's academics please feel free to contact me.
