Week of December 21
We had a fun short week of school! On Monday we celebrated with our Winter Wonderland. We enjoyed making crafts, a special snack, a science snow experiment and a visit from some animals. On Tuesday we learned about the different holidays celebrated in December - Hannakuh, Christmas, and Kwanzaa. We got to visit each of the first grade classrooms to learn about one of the holidays. In the afternoon, we talked about how nice it is to give to other people. We looked at all the crafts we made and chose some that we could give as gifts. We wrapped them up to share with the special people in our lives. I hope you enjoy your gifts! On Wednesday we enjoyed a movie day and visited the library and computer lab for some special activities. It was a lot of fun experiencing the excitement of the holidays with your children this week!
